6) Robbie Fowler – 183

Established himself as a Liverpool legend during his first spell at the club, which ran until 2001, when he joined Leeds United. He returned for a second spell in 2006, playing a useful bit-part role under Rafael Benitez.

5) Steven Gerrard – 184

A Liverpool player since 1987 and a first-team player since 1998, there are few bigger Liverpool heroes than our iconic midfielder, who has now played over 700 games for the club. His goal against QPR could be his last.

4) Billy Liddell – 220

The Scottish winger remains a celebrated figure at Anfield. He spent his entire career with Liverpool, eventually retiring in 1961, shortly before his 40th birthday. He scored over 300 goals if you were to count wartime games.
