MNF presenters put Liverpool heroes in ‘All-time British & Foreign Premier League XIs’

How much can you argue with these sides, and which do you reckon would come out on top…?

On Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were charged with selecting an all-time Premier League UK & Ireland XI, and an all-time foreign one.

Our former centre-back chose the Brits, while his co-presenter selected the foreign side.

Here’s who they went for:

Carragher’s UK & Ireland XI:

Seaman, G Neville, Tony Adams, John Terry – David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs – Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer

Neville’s Rest of the World XI:

Schmeichel, Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra – Patrick Vieira, Yaya Toure – Cristiano Ronaldo, Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry – Luis Suarez

Two Liverpool players feature. Naturally, Steven Gerrard lines up in the UK & Ireland XI – interestingly alongside Roy Keane in central midfielder rather than Paul Scholes.

Despite only playing in England for three and a half seasons, Suarez leads the line for Neville’s ridiculously impressive Rest of the World side – with Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry flanking him up top!

Carragher reckons his own side would win, but sadly – we’re with Neville here…

There’s no way that Rest of the World XI is getting beaten!
