Just kidding Daniel, we’re certainly not giving you up that easy! But in all fairness, you’re unlikely to hear many footballers that can hold a tune, and his rendition of Bob Marley’s ‘One Love’ is definitely respectable.

The England international has clearly been enjoying a break from his continuing injury rehab. This week, he took his mates to a wig shop. The striker, complete with his new dreadlocks, was challenged by his friend to sing a tribute to the iconic singer, and he delighted in delivering.

Sturridge managed just seven Premier League starts this season, as he battled multiple fitness problems. His campaign was subsequently brought to a premature end as he was flown to the States for hip surgery and an operation that, we hope, has helped solve these ongoing problems.

He certainly seems in a positive mood right now, so let’s hope he’s still smiling come October, when he’s due back (via The Independent). We need him to be fit and firing!
