It was a bore draw in Dublin this afternoon as England were held to a 0-0 scoreline by the Republic of Ireland.

A realistic Liverpool signing from every Copa America squad: including Tevez and Bundesliga star
Liverpool stars Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Raheem Sterling, and new signing James Milner all started, but even the presence of the Reds quartet could not inspire the Three Lions to victory.
All four players showed signs of having taken part in a very long season for their respective clubs, as well as a desire to be away on holiday rather than on England duty.
Henderson and Sterling were mainstays of our team throughout the season, playing 54 and 47 games in all competitions respectively, while Lallana still played 41 times despite struggling with a couple of injuries.
Milner starred in 45 games for City, making it his busiest season in five years at the club, although he was only able to help them to second place in the Premier League. Manuel Pellegrini’s side put up a limp defence of their title in truth, which they surrendered to Chelsea, with Milner one of their few stand-out individuals, scoring eight goals.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the efforts of our four players:
Watching @JHenderson play has made my day bearable

MOTM for me was Jordan Henderson. It was tough to pick someone because they were all pretty average. #Henderson #ManOfTheMatch #ROIvEng
