The second deal of the summer complete…
Subject to a medical, Danny Ings has signed for Liverpool – following James Milner as an early summer Anfield arrival.
Although his signing is by no means a marquee one, it could prove an astute piece of business, considering Ings’s age and potential – and the fact he’ll only cost a compensation fee as his contract is up this summer.
Here’s how fans reacted to the news that we’ve secured a deal for the forward dubbed ‘Ingsaghi’!

Happy or not, excited or not, let’s all give him that chance to either prove us wrong or right. I wish him all the best at us still. #Ings

We announce signing a 22yr old who scored more goals for a relegation team than all our fit strikers and fans decide to insult him. Nice.

And Ings is better than Rickie Lambert, so that’s a positive. — LFC Fans Corner (@LFCFansCorner) June 8, 2015
Get behind Ings, you never know, he could be the man who scored a few crucial goals for us.
