Gary Neville is preparing to send Jamie Carragher one of his old Manchester United shirts, after the Liverpool legend lost a bet with his fellow Sky Sports pundit.

The pair – who appear to have developed a positive relationship since their respective playing days – endured a fierce rivalry for more than a decade, with Neville undoubtedly becoming one of the most unpopular men on Merseyside.
With that in mind, there won’t be many Liverpool purists jumping for joy at the sight of Carragher wearing a United shirt, particularly one which has Neville’s name and number on the back.
The bet itself concerned Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho, who looks set to leave the club this summer after two indifferent seasons at White Hart Lane.
Carragher had bet that the player would score at least 15 goals in a season with Spurs. Unfortunately for him, the Brazilian fell some way short, scoring nine in his first campaign and just one last season.
With the 26-year-old now set for a move to China (via Sky Sports), it appears to be time for Carragher to make good on the forfeit…
@GNev2 Send me one I don’t want to take the framed one down off the bedroom wall. 15 in the season not just prem!
