Liverpool supporters woke up to the news this morning that Mario Balotelli, along with Jose Enrique and Fabio Borini, has been asked to train alone – separately from the first-team squad which will fly out to Finland for a friendly versus HJK tomorrow.
The decision from Brendan Rodgers proves the three are completely surplus to Liverpool requirements and available for transfer, too.
Many fans though think it’s disrespectful to our Champions League winning Italian especially – although others can understand Rodgers’ decision.
Which side of the fence do you stand?
Mario Balotelli at Melwood today. https://t.co/hr6IebkIWN

Wish I was @raymondhegarty1 just can’t see 7 Million being anywhere near enough for a man that cost us 16 Million 11 months ago #Balotelli — Kevin Roche (@K_Ro_89) July 31, 2015
Lovely division of the fanbase on the Balotelli story. As long as we win our first six games the infighting between fans shouldn’t last.

The difference between Lovren and Balotelli is that Lovren was a Rodgers signing and Balotelli was not. Simple as that. #lfc — Anfield Chat (@TheAnfieldChat) July 30, 2015
Balotelli’s exclusion from training isn’t that unexpected. Rodgers’ always goes on about intensity in training. Bet Mario fitted right in.

No doubt Rodgers handled Balotelli very poorly, but can you name a manager that’s consistently harnessed his talents? Honestly. — Rory Greenfield (@PapaG84) July 30, 2015
Wouldn’t suprise me if Balotelli is still a Liverpool player even after Rodgers is no longer Liverpool manager, though.

Rodgers doesn’t rate Balotelli, which is fine, but it’s not in the clubs interest to publicly ostracise him and thereby lower his value — John M O’Sullivan (@NotoriousJOS) July 30, 2015
Rodgers ruining the unbelievably talented and amazing Balotelli. Thank god all these good managers are lining up to take him away eh?

The way Rodgers has treated Balotelli is awful — . (@ynwagram) July 30, 2015
Brendan Rodgers is treating Balotelli like he’s been trouble to him and his entire flopped career.

As much as you can criticise Rodgers for signing Balotelli last summer but he gave him an opportunity and Mario has truly wasted it #LFC — Dipesh Shah (@D1PZ) July 31, 2015
@ibraista Rodgers has no reason to sell balotelli if he was working hard in training and turning up. We don’t see behind the scenes.

Rodgers treatment of Balotelli, borini, enrique is ruthless and actually what we need — Garang (@chemey8) July 31, 2015
Brendan Rodgers told Balotelli he has no future at Liverpool.I think Brendan is that manager who signs a player watching youtube videos.
