Congratulations to Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo, who scored his first goal in competitive senior football on Tuesday evening, finding the net for Wolves in their League Cup victory against Barnet.
Ojo, who is currently on loan with the Championship club, was also given the Man of the Match award for his performance – as his fledgling career continues to take impressive strides forward.
The 18-year-old, who scored his first Liverpool goal during this summer’s pre-season friendly win over Swindon Town, also spent time with Wigan in England’s second tier earlier this year – but failed to score in 11 games.
Ojo, who many Liverpool fans hope will follow in the footsteps of Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe by progressing into the first-team, has also featured in three of Wolves’ league matches thus far, helping them take four points.
You can watch his extremely well-taken goal in the video below. Is this a sign of things to come?
