Indeed, our targets were ticked off before the season had even started, and we’ve arguably been more relaxed about anyone over the first couple of weeks of the new campaign – helping inspire our near-perfect start.
However, the perfectionists among you should realise that there are still a handful of things that still need addressing off the pitch, and in the list below we have our top five:
5) Secure the future of Mamadou Sakho
The transfer saga surrounding the French defender – who has already been the subject of bids from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen this summer (via Sky Sports) – continues to rumble on. However, we have to be realistic, he must be a Liverpool player come this time next week. We’ve left ourselves no time to find a suitable replacement and we’d be incredibly short of options if either Skrtel or Lovren picked up an injury. His time will come round against this season and he must be ready to take it and prove that he deserves to be considered first-choice.
