For better or for worse (as it always was at Anfield…) Mario Balotelli makes headlines.
And the striker we paid £16m for, and still own, has delighted AC Milan supporters on his friendly debut for his Italian loan side – as they beat Mantova 3-2.
Within three minutes, he’d scored a long range curler – before assisting another Milan goal with a header, and winning a penalty in a superb debut which will leave fans of the Serie A side delighted at getting their previously prolific forward back for the season – and maybe longer.
Liverpool fans will be left wondering what could have been.
