Klopp moves into Rodgers’ former £1.2m Sefton Park apartment

Before the Klopp family move into a house proper, our new manager will rent the luxury apartment formerly lived in by Brendan Rodgers when the Northern Irishman was in charge, reports the Daily Mail.

As he’s taking charge mid-season and not in the summer, the German’s going to have very little time to organise his new life in a different country, juggling emigration with football duties – so has chosen to rent now and buy later.

Not only does he have to assess his own squad and Tottenham’s before next weekend, but he has to choose a team and explain a tactic – while undertaking English lessons, driving lessons, and making sure his family is happy with the move!

The report claims Klopp will pay £4k-per-month for the apartment, something well within his budget considering he’s just signed a £7m-per-year contract (via Mirror) which makes him the Premier League’s third highest paid boss behind Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger.
