Many Liverpool fans were grossly disappointed when we let Suso join AC Milan in Serie A last term, but it seems we were perhaps right to do so, with the Italian giants now trying to move him on as well.
According to MilanNews.it, the youngster’s fate has already been sealed and manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has no plans for him.
The 21-year-old has only been given 55 minutes of football so far this season, and for a player badly in need of game time to aid his development, this is nowhere near enough.
It’s a shame that Suso’s career hasn’t yet lifted off. He broke onto the scene at the same time as Raheem Sterling, and was not necessarily rated too much below the speedster at the time. Now, although we can’t stand him for reasons well known, Sterling’s an England starter who cost £49m in the summer – and Suso is risking becoming a ‘What could’ve been’.
He’s very skilful and technically adept, and has a left foot capable of scoring from outside of the area as well. We hope he gets the right move and he can start showing what he’s got soon, as he always gave his all for Liverpool.
