Jurgen Klopp held another pre-match press conference today, this time ahead of Wednesday’s fixture with Bournemouth in the League Cup.
The new boss confirmed that he’ll be switching up the XI due to tired legs, but promises that the competition is still important, and he’s desperate to win the match.
He also singled out Cameron Brannagan for big praise, with the midfielder signing a new contract recently.
(You won’t see it mentioned in this video as the coverage started two minutes after Klopp started talking, but he also confirmed that Daniel Sturridge would not be ready for tomorrow’s clash – as Andy Kelly form the Echo confirms.)
Klopp: Nothing new on Sturridge, not available for #LFC tomorrow. Getting better but we have to wait. He’s in gym work at minute
