In terms of football analysis, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville are the best thing on TV.
And last night they put their punditry skills to excellent use by discussing Liverpool’s battering of Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday.
Carragher takes time to note how close Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana were to each other in attack, explaining that it allowed the clever linkup which led to our first three goals.
He also mentioned Lucas and how the Brazilian anchorman was keen to ‘attack’ the ball defensively, rather than turn his head and cover the City players behind him.
