“Klopp-Cam” – German TV station to film 90 minutes of Jurgen during Dortmund tie

Posted by

The German TV channel Sport1 have announced that they’ll focus their cameras on our boss for the entirety of our Europa League clash with Dortmund on Thursday.

The game marks Kloppo’s homecoming – it’s the first time he’ll return to his spiritual home since leaving them last summer. There is certain to be high emotion, unabated craziness, and (hopefully!) plenty of joy on show.

Dirc Seemann, Sport1’s executive editor, described what fans could expect:

“During the match we’ll offer our users on sport1.de a Klopp live cam.

“It will be on him for 90 minutes, as a special for his homecoming. Once Jurgen Klopp gets to the Westfalenstadion in the team bus we’ll have our cameras on him.” (via Echo).

Jurgen famously won two Bundesliga titles with the Ruhr-based side, as well as narrowly missing out on the Champions League when a late Arjen Robben strike saw bitter rivals Bayern Munich beat them to the trophy.

Klopp has not said what he think’s about Sport1’s decision, but he’s probably loving it… At the very least, it should be good for a host of new Klopp-themed memes and GIFs!
