Liverpool fans have broadly reacted positively to our 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final.
Divock Origi gave us the lead, and a crucial away goal, in the 36th minute. Mats Hummels headed home their equaliser shortly after the interval.
Fans were particularly impressed with the quality of the defensive performance, with Sakho being acclaimed as the captain-in-waiting by many onlookers. Mignolet also received praise after a solid game, while the opposition keeper Roman Weidenfeller was also applauded.

The only criticism, if there could be one, was that we were unable to add a second goal. Lovren and Origi had great chances, but Weidenfeller was alert to both.
