It’s pretty obvious that Jurgen Klopp rates Adam Lallana highly, but according to Fox Sports and Europa League reporter Keith Costigan – the German wants the Kop to have ‘ten songs’ about the playmaker!
Costigan tweeted as much after the Villarreal game, but the quotes have only just picked up internet steam.
Klopp told me Lallana should not be unsung. Said he could sing 10 songs about him. Called him the team’s hunter. First line of press

If you’ve watched Liverpool recently, you can totally understand Klopp’s opinion. Nobody presses as hard as Lallana, who quite literally sprints 30-40 metres to close down opposing defenders and set the tone for our defensive shape.
When we’re in the lead, he has the footballing brain to slow down tempo and maintain possession, but Lallana, who turned 28 today, is so good in the first 20 minutes as well – when Liverpool are intent on rushing the opposition into mistakes.
Lallana is a certainty for the Europa League Final XI in just over a week’s time, and will likely start tomorrow night against Chelsea as well.
The way he’s developed into a key member of Klopp’s first-choice side is mightily impressive. Long may his development under the German continue.
