Jurgen Klopp’s press-conference today was relaxed and jovial ahead of tomorrow evening’s clash with Chelsea at Anfield.
We’re still fighting for fifth, but really – all attention among supporters is on the Europa League Final in nine days’ time.
Interestingly, the manager told fans not to focus on the fact the stadium for the final in Basel is so small, claiming he doesn’t want even ‘1% negativity’ surrounding the game.
Klopp though is focussed on the Chelsea match, and intimated he’ll select a strong XI. He also spoke up the fitness of Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson – claiming they’ll definitely be ready for the Euros with England.
On transfers, he said he and his team were working on names, but wouldn’t go into detail as to who.
Typically, he threw in a casual swearword at the end – in Klopp style!
