Two Reds feature as Belgium draw with Finland – but one of LFC trio looks set for tournament on bench

Divock Origi and Christian Benteke both played an important part in the game as Belgium drew 1-1 with Finland in Brussels

Origi started the match and was replaced by Dries Mertens after 58 minutes. Beneteke played the final half hour after coming on the bench in place of Michy Batshuayi.

According to the official site, Origi headed a Kevin De Bruyne cross just wide, while Benteke forced Hradecky into making three smart stops.

Origi and Benteke will both have high hopes of being on the pitch when Belgium start their tournament on June 13 against Italy in Paris – but it is a different story for our keeper, Simon Mignolet.

Thibaut Courtois was once again selected in goal, and any hopes that Mignolet had of displacing the Chelsea number one seem to be vanishing.

Lukaku saved their sides’ blushes when he fired home an 89th minute equaliser.

Belgium have one more warm-up game before the Euros; they face Norway at the Stade Roi Baudouin this Sunday.
