Klopp rejects Premier League club’s approach for young out-of-form winger

We have knocked back West Brom’s inquiry over the availability of Jordon Ibe.

According to the Mirror, Tony Pulis is set to lose Saido Berahino to Stoke City and is in the market for a replacement.

Ibe had a difficult 2015/16 season. When he first broke into the side under Brendan Rodgers he looked like he could be a world-beater, but his development has stalled this season, and he was used sparingly by Klopp after Christmas.

He made just twelve league starts all season, with four of those coming right at the end of the campaign once Klopp started prioritizing the Europa League.

He did, however, score his first Premier League goal on the final day of the season – ironically, against West Brom.

Klopp is willing to persevere with the player, but is known to be open to a loan deal in the short-term to let him get some experience, especially with Lazar Markovic now returning to the set-up.
