Paris Saint Germain’s Lucas Moura has denied rumours that he’s held talks with Liverpool over a move to Anfield.

Speaking to Globo Esporte, the 23-year-old has claimed it’s all just “speculation”

“I’m not aware of anything, I just know what’s coming out on the Internet is from the press,” he said.

“I want to do a good pre-season and wait for Tite’s next Brazil squad, I’m sure he’ll be watching us all playing in Europe.

“Of course I am hoping to return to the national team and establish myself there, but my first focus is to establish PSG as a starter and then I’m sure the opportunity will appear.”

Moura moved from Sao Paulo to the French capital in a £35.5 million deal in 2013 and has gone on to score 21 goals in 111 games for PSG. He has also been capped 34 times for Brazil and picked up a silver medal in 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The player, who is known for his explosive acceleration, agility, and pace on the ball, would be another great addition to our attacking line-up, but after the Mane deal, we can’t see it happening.
