Liverpool’s forward Mario Balotelli has very few suitors, so started training with the squad yesterday on the first day of pre-season…
The expectation from supporters was that the Italian would be on his way out, but Balotelli has claimed he can resurrect his career at Anfield – having flopped for the past two years – one with us, and one on loan with AC Milan.
Liverpool fans are flatly divided. Some are romantically claiming he should be given one final chance to reach his other worldly potential; but the others, realistically, are convinced Balotelli is fried.
Here’s some of the reaction:

Not enjoying seeing Balotelli back in #LFC kit. He’s a clown and needs to go. I would just release him.

Some Liverpool fans refuse to give up on Balotelli. They also cried for Borini to get a chance. Every fan base has a deluded bunch #LFC

Anyone want Balotelli to get a chance under Klopp? Or is he totally finished?

He displays some skill on occasion, but that doesn’t make me forget about his shit attitude, lack of graft on the pitch… #Balotelli
