Here at Empire of the Kop, we are delighted about Jordon Ibe’s move down south.
It’s a great move for a player who needs regular first team football to fulfil his potential, it’s a good amount of money for someone who was ultimately a fringe player for most of last season, and the buyback clause means we’ve protected ourselves in case he eventually develops into the player we all hoped he could be.
Also, keep this in mind – we played 63 games last season. This season we will play a maximum of 52 – IF we were to get to both cup finals. We just don’t need as many players as in 2015/16.

Liverpool sold Jordon Ibe ? that's beyond childish

@LivEchoLFC @JamesPearceEcho selling a good young player…shocking

Sad to see Ibe go, a winger with strength and power which is rare these days. Howe could do wonders for him. @neiljonesecho @LivEchoLFC

@LivEchoLFC @Anything_LFC why?! A young versatile player like Ibe could have gone a long way in the game under a coach like Jürgen Klopp!

We had 3 youngsters who we were hoping will be world class. Sterling gone. Ibe unhappy, will move perhaps. Only Ojo remains #LFC

Would've preferred to see Jordon Ibe go on loan to a premier league side and see how he got on. But klopp knows what he's doing.
