So, Martin Skrtel has joined Jordon Ibe, Kolo Toure, Steven Caulker, João Teixeira, and Samid Yesil on the list of players who’ve left Anfield this summer.
Of course, more are expected to join him – with rumours about Christian Benteke, Mario Balotelli, Lucas Leiva, and Lazar Markovic refusing to go away.
In an Instagram post, Martin has thanked the Liverpool fans for the support to him and his family during his time on Merseyside, calling it a pleasure and privilege to play for the club. He concluded by saying that Liverpool would be “in [his] heart forever”.
