Fans mostly delighted with Wijnaldum rumours, but debate rages over where he should play

It appears to be increasingly likely that Georginio Wijnaldum will be a Red by the end of the transfer window.

The deal has come out of nowhere – we can’t recall seeing his name linked with a move to Anfield at any point this summer, which goes to show just how little the mainstream UK newspapers really know about who Klopp has his eye on.

Given the suddenness of the move, Liverpool fans haven’t really had a chance to debate the relative merits of the player or where he’d fit into our current squad.
