Joe Allen has joined Stoke City in a £13 million move from Liverpool.
The Welsh international – who made just eight league starts last season – moves on after a summer of rumour and counter-rumour.
It is understood that his former club, Swansea City, were also keen on a move, but that Allen ultimately decided to move onto new pastures under Mark Hughes in the Potteries.
