Rumours are strongly suggesting that PSV’s Dutch left-back Jetro Willems will be the last big arrival of Liverpool’s summer.
With a bid accepted for Brad Smith, Liverpool undeniably need to bring in competition for Alberto Moreno, although many fans reckon Willems is too similar to our Spaniard when we really require a defensive upgrade.
The links began when Willems promised Gini Wijnaldum he’d ‘see him soon,’ although there’s been no confirmation from trusted Liverpool reports that our interest is genuine.
The 22-year-old is an excellent attacker, but has moments of madness at the back…
