Hertha boss reveals 1st impression of LFC’s Allan: ‘He shoots like a horse’

Liverpool’s young Brazilian Allan Rodrigues could move to Hertha Berlin on loan for the season, that’s if their manager Pal Dardai is suitably impressed.

The 19-year-old is currently training with the Bundesliga outfit, who finished seventh last term, in a bid to prove to Dardai he’s good enough for a campaign in Germany.

Allan has enjoyed stints at Finland with SJK and Belgium with Sint-Truden since arriving from Internacional in a bid to win a work-permit, but this test will be by far the toughest.

So far, Dardai likes what he can see!

“My first impression is good. He is a player for the future, we’ll have a look at him. He also shoots like a horse,” he told Bild

The Bild report says that Klopp personally called Dardai and advised him to take the playmaker on loan. The Hungarian agreed and will check Allan out first hand for a week with a view to signing him for the season.

Allan can play either in central midfield or further forward in a more attacking role. His vision, technique and cultured left foot are strengths – and we hope he impressed sufficiently in Berlin and gets games at such a high level for the next 12 months.
