We’d put money on the fact that not every Liverpool fan would have heard of Ovie Ejaria before this summer, but the youngster is now simply impossible to ignore.
Against Chelsea last night in our first friendly of the American Tour, the teenage midfielder stood out once again – impressing with his rangy running and quick feet.
His most memorable moment came when he beautifully slipped Roberto Firmino through on goal with a back-heeled pass. The Brazilian scored but was sadly ruled offside. Still, the vision and skill fro Ejaria to pull it off was mesmeric!
On current form, we can expect Ejaria to form a consistent part of the first-team squad this term. We cannot wait to see more of this in the coming weeks, and hopefully, months.
