Here’s what he said in full:
“I don’t talk with the S*n anymore. I don’t speak with the S*n anymore. It’s not because I’m Liverpool now, it’s because of a few things which will happen in the next few days or weeks, I don’t know. It’s not personal, but you’re still working for the S*n, right? That’s it. You can listen and write what you want.”
What does he mean by saying “it’s because of a few things that will happen in the next few days or weeks”?
Is it a case of lost in translation — is he just referring to the reaction from Liverpool fans if he speaks to them? Or is something more sinister going on? Does the hated paper have a story on either him or one of the players that it’ll publish soon?
Let’s just hope it’s the former…
