Liverpool were easily the best side as we beat Barcelona 4-0 in a friendly this evening.
Goals from Divock Origi, Marko Grujic, and Sadio Mane, along with an own goal from former Red Javier Mascherano, were enough to give us the win.
We now have one final pre-season match against Mainz in Germany tomorrow, but fans’ thoughts are quickly turning towards Arsenal and the start of the new Premier League season next weekend.

“If we can be beat Barcelona 4-0, imagine what we can do to Wenger’s men” seems to be the prevailing viewpoint.
While that’s a shortsighted way to look at the situation, there is no doubt that this result has given the players, manager, and fans a much-needed boost ahead of next weekend’s showpiece.
Here’s what’s been said about the game on Twitter:
Worry would be injuries to two of the back four that was likely to start at Arsenal. Hope they’re okay. Running out of centre-backs.
