Balotelli could head back to Serie A on loan with Italian giant [rumour]

So, it looks like we’ve managed to rid ourselves of one unwanted striker in the shape of Christian Benteke – but we’ve still got another one at the club.

That person is, of course, Mario Balotelli.

According to reports in Italian outlet Il Messaggero (quoted in Star), his agent Mino Raiola has offered the striker to Serie A giants Lazio.

However, it would only be a loan move, and Raiola is trying to persuade us to pay a significant chunk of his wages to help smooth the deal.

Balotelli – who has only scored two league goals in the last two seasons combined – has been linked with a host of Serie A minnows, Sampdoria, Ajax, Bologna, Besiktas, and Championship side Wolves this summer, but none of them have been forthcoming with a concrete offer.

Would you let me go on loan even if it costs us money? Let us know in the comments below…
