Liverpool have loaned a Hart – but it’s not Joe Hart!
Alas, if you were hoping we might snap up the City keeper this summer you’ll be disappointed – all we’ve done is loan out young defender Sam Hart to Port Vale for the season.
There’s still some reason to be frustrated with the move though – because the 19-year-old is a left-back!
Hart has been a regular for Michael Beale’s U23 side but is yet to taste a competitive senior game at any club, and the Echo report Klopp sanctioned the move for that very reason.

He briefly saw first-team action in our pre-season loss to Mainz.
Port Vale are currently sixth in League One after winning two and drawing one of their opening four games. They are not in League Cup after being dumped out in a 2-1 loss to Carlisle on Tuesday night.
