Liverpool will not be signing Man City keeper Joe Hart this summer.
Speculation has been rife that he might move to Anfield since Pep Guardiola confirmed he was free to leave City, but the Echo reports Klopp has no interest in the player.
Apparently, the German sees no need to add another keeper having already signed Loris Karius and veteran Alex Manninger this summer.
He also Danny Ward on the books – though the youngster will spend this campaign on loan at Huddersfield.
Klopp thinks that we have sufficient quality between the sticks – Mignolet has made a decent start to the season after being offered a reprieve by Karius injury, while Karius himself is expected to be fit shortly after the upcoming international break.
Are we making the right decision by turning up our noses at the Premier League title winner? Should we be looking to add further quality to the defensive unit? Let us know in the comments…
