Another Liverpool player set for exit as Italian giants make £6 million bid

Luis Alberto is on the verge of joining Serie A side Lazio for £6 million.

According to the Echo, we will pocket £4.3 million up front with a further £1.7 million to come in add-ons. We have also secured a 30 percent sell-on fee.

The negotiations between the two clubs have been concluded, with the midfielder reportedly now in Italy discussing personal terms with the club.

He arrived three years ago when Brendan Rodgers snapped him up for £6.8 million from Sevilla, but he never managed to fully secure a berth in the first team.

He made 12 senior appearances during his time with the club, but they all came before Christmas in the 2013/14 season.

He spent the last two seasons out on loan – firstly with Malaga and then with Deportivo La Coruna.

It was thought he might rejoin Sevilla this summer, but in the end a deal could not be agree and he will now move to Italy.
