Inclusion of two Liverpool players divides England supporters around the country

Despite a couple of surprises, Sam Allardyce’s first England squad is hardly revolutionary.

The core of the team remains the same as the one that failed so dismally this summer in France. We’ve got four lads in there – the only Red who went to the Euros but isn’t involved under Big Sam is James Milner, who has stepped down from international duty.

However, the inclusion of Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson seems to be causing controversy on Twitter.

People aren’t questioning Daniel’s quality, but are wondering why he’s been picked when he’s not a regular under Klopp – whereas a lot of fans seem to wish Everton’s Ross Barkley had been chosen instead of Hendo.
