The visit of Leicester City next weekend is expected to come too soon for the young German stopped, but a report in the Echo today suggests that will be the last game he is unavailable for.

It is only five weeks since the injury occurred.

He had the wire support from his hand removed in an operation on Wednesday, and our medical staff are impressed with how quickly it has all healed.

The next question is whether or not he will even be able to dislodge Mignolet from the team. Would you throw him in against Chelsea?
