Mino Raiola launches stunning foul-mouthed tirade against Klopp over Balotelli treatment

Mino Raiola has verbally attacked our boss Jurgen Klopp over his treatment of Mario Balotelli.

The Italian flop was allowed to leave Anfield and join French side Nice on the final day of the transfer window. He had not trained with the first team in the off-season, played no part in our pre-season friendlies, and did not travel with the team on their tour of the United States.

Raiola, who is Mario’s agent, lashed out at Klopp in Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport (cited on Echo).

“In the end, the higher-ups at Liverpool admitted that Klopp was wrong (to send Balotelli to train with the reserves),” he said.

“I’m not trying to judge him as a coach – although, for me, he’s not a good coach – but he didn’t understand that Balotelli is, whatever else, a person.

“Mario has been exemplary. He never complained about training alone. To say that it was wrong of Klopp would be an understatement. He was a piece of sh*t about it.”

The fact we allowed him to go on a free shows how desperate we were to get rid of him; we had only signed him for £16 million a mere two years ago, but one league goal in 24 months saw Klopp eager to sell him.

He has joined Nice on a one-year contract, showing what a gamble they believe him to be.
