Reds receive defensive injury boost ahead of clash with the champions

Jurgen Klopp will be feeling a lot happier this evening.

Firstly, it was confirmed that Sadio Mane had been cleared after an injury scare while on international duty, and the latest news is that Ragnar Klavan is also fit to take his place in the eleven if called upon.

The news was broken by the Daily Express.

He missed our 1-1 draw with Spurs last time out after picking up a knee injury. His absence gave Joel Matip a chance to step up into the first team, and he played extremely well.

It means Klopp now has a selection headache — does he go with the Estonian who was so good against Arsenal but at fault for a goal against Burnley, or the Cameroonian who played so well against Spurs?

Who would you go with if you were in Klopp’s shoes? Who gives more to the team against a side like Leicester? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
