Adam Lallana has set a new Premier League record for the 2016/17 season so far in the game against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
According to the club’s official Twitter account, he covered a mammoth 13.1 kms in the game, eclipsing his own record that he set against Spurs in our 1-1 draw two weeks ago when he covered 12.5 kms.

Lallana was many EOTK readers’ pick for the Man of the Match, but he was eventually beaten the award by Roberto Firmino.
The 28-year-old had a great game, not only in terms of the amount of ground he covered, but also thanks to a stunning second-half strike that ended any hopes Leicester City had of a comeback.
