Klopp explains the unusual trait he wants his team to have against Chelsea

Jurgen Klopp has told his players that they should keep being greedy when they travel to Chelsea this weekend.

When asked how he could replicate the Leicester performance, this is what he said:

“[By] staying greedy.

“The movement was brilliant, everybody saw it. Daniel [Sturridge] was involved in three goals. The first one was a brilliant run and brilliant movement with Roberto [Firmino].” (official site)

Antonio Conte’s men have enjoyed a good start to the new season, picking up ten points from four games – but a win for Liverpool this weekend would probably see us overtake them.

Only Man City (11) have scored more than the nine goals we have netted in the league so far this season, and Klopp wants his players to keep that impressive rate going at Stamford Bridge.

Klopp has certainly injected a dose of goals into the side – no one has scored more league goals than us since January 1st.

But Chelsea – despite their troubles of last season – remain a good defensive unit. Their four goals conceded is the joint-third best in the league, only behind Everton and Spurs (2) and Hull and West Brom (3). We have already shipped seven.

Will we get a positive result? Let us know…
