Liverpool make best start to the season in 8 years, despite brutally tough start

Posted by

We now have our best start to the season since the 2008/o9 season.

Yesterday’s 2-1 win over Chelsea moved us up to fourth place in the league with ten points after five game. It would be a good start under any circumstance, but considering we have played Arsenal, Spurs, and Chelsea away, as well as the reigning Premier League champions, it is an incredible start.

All the more impressive is the fact we have played away five times already – four in the League and one in the League Cup.

We are away again on Tuesday against Derby, but then we enter a sequence that could go a long way to determining what position in the league table we are competing for come May.

Here are our next six league games:

  • Hull (H)
  • Swansea (A)
  • Man Utd (H)
  • West Brom (H)
  • Palace (A)
  • Watford (H)

How many points should we be getting from them? Let us know!
