Klopp gives Wijnaldum and Lallana get the all-clear after they miss Derby game

Gini Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana were not in the squad for Derby County vs Liverpool in the League Cup during the week due to injury.

According to Klopp, Wijnaldum had a knee injury and Lallana was feeling fatigued.

“Adam (Lallana and Gini (Wijnaldum) were not in the squad (for Derby),” he said.

“Gini got a knock on his knee, he was not 100% for the Derby game, not risked, but trained on the day. The same with Adam Lallana, he felt a little bit the intensity of the last games, so there was no reason to try anything with him, he was not in the squad but trained.” (Echo)
