Liverpool legend highlights which player he thinks has undergone the biggest transformation since Klopp’s arrival

Who is the most-improved player under Jurgen Klopp?

Roberto Firmino has a shout. So does Dejan Lovren. Maybe Emre Can? Or Moreno (kidding!).

According to Liverpool legend Jan Molby, the choice is clear — it’s Adam Lallana.

“For me Adam Lallana has undergone quite a transformation,” he said. (Echo)

“It’s gone from seeing him getting the ball and knowing nothing would happen to seeing every time he’s on the ball he gives the right pass or does something positive.”

We’re inclined to agree with Jan. The English midfielder enduring an unspectacular first 18 months with the club, but since Klopp’s arrival last season he’s become one of our most important – and impressive – players.

He started adding goals to his game, always manages to pick the right pass, works tirelessly, and is generally cool, calm, and composed on the ball.

Klopp clearly loves him (look at all those hugs!), and he’s probably now the first name on the teamsheet. With him and Sadio Mane assured on their places, there are only two slots available between Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge, and Origi. And that says a lot.

Do you agree with Molby? Has Lallana undergone the biggest transformation out of anyone on our side? Let us know…
