Klopp divulges the dressing room pact he has with his players

Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about the good spirits that surround Anfield and the club at the moment.

A wonderful start to the season that has seen us win 13 out of 18 points has fueled dreams of titles and silverware, but the boss knows there is a long, long way to go.

He is keen not to let all the media talk affect him or his players. He doesn’t want anyone to be distracted from the primary week-in, week-out task — winning football matches.

“We have an agreement,” Klopp revealed.

“I say: ‘The only thing that is important for you is how I saw the game’.

“They like to hear about it when it is good, but I can still say this was okay, this was okay…

“It is only important how we see it. I am really happy that they are getting asked positive questions, but in the end we have to show that does not make us weak and not a per cent in doubt. (Echo)

A win over Swansea this weekend in Saturday’s early kick-off would put us up to second in the table. The top two – Spurs and Man City – play each other on Sunday afternoon.

We then have another (ridiculous) enforced break as the shambles that are England take to the pitch.

The first game back after the international break is going to be a juicy one as Man Utd come to Anfield.
