According to French magazine Le 10 Sport, Paris St Germain are going to be making a bid for Philippe Coutinho in January.
It is claimed that the French club made a £22 million bid in the summer, but that is was met with a swift rebuttal from ourselves.
It is even suggested that they will use Coutinho’s fellow Brazilian, Lucas Moura, as a bait to make us do business.
Apparently, he has failed to convince new PSG boss Unai Emery, who was appointed as successor to Laurent Blanc over the summer, of his qualities.
We cannot see this one happening. It is apparent from the way Klopp sets up his sides that Coutinho and Firmino are both central planks to his philosophy going forward. Why would he risk that?
How much is Coutinho worth? Let us know…
