Another stat that proves how superb Liverpool have been so far this season in the Premier League.
We cover the most ground, score the most goals, keep most possession and according to this statistic doing the rounds today from Sky Sports, have completed the most sprints too.
Jurgen Klopp’s side has completed 4165 sprints in total, over 150 more than our nearest rivals Manchester City.
Interestingly, Monday’s opponents Manchester United – who are managed by the pragmatic Jose Mourinho – have completed around 600 less.
While Klopp favours attacking football and relentless pressing, Mourinho favours shape and organisation and it’ll definitely be a battle of two tactical ways of thinking in just under a week’s time.
An all-action attacking performance by Liverpool will give us the chance to beat anyone, but our first league clean-sheet of the campaign would come in very handy. No mean feat verses Zlatan Ibrahimovic and co, but handy nonetheless!
