However, it seems Mourinho hasn’t been watching us much this season, and it looks like he certainly was not watching our game against United on Monday night.
That’s because he has praised Klopp for his amazing DEFENSIVE performance at Anfield
“I think you are very unfair with Liverpool because Liverpool had a fantastic defensive performance,” he said. (Mirror)
“For the first time they played with two defensive midfielder players. For the first time they played with Henderson and Can together.
“For the first time they took a striker off to play another midfielder.”
Now, while it’s true we kept our first clean sheet of the season, the defence is probably the one area of the side where Klopp doesn’t deserved to be praised!
Never mind the fact he played with a back six. Never mind the fact they ended with only six touches in our box. Never mind they only had 30-odd percent possession. Apparently WE were the defensive ones!
Yeah, ok Jose. Bring your glasses next time!
