“You need to be a Scouser to speak Scouse,” he said.

“I don’t have to [speak in Scouse],” admitted Klopp. “It’s good for me because I am not good in it, but I understand much better because a few of our kit men are completely Scouse and talk to me like I am a Scouser.

“Unfortunately I am not and so it is really difficult [to speak it] and I don’t use it, but meanwhile I understand a lot.

“I have to use English all the time so other people can understand me, but you need to be a Scouser to speak Scouse – and this needs a long time to become a Scouser.” (Echo)

Lets just hope he’s around for long enough to become a Scouser!
