How much better is Daniel Sturridge when he plays with a strike partner…?
A lot – is the answer.
Divock Origi was also brilliant tonight, but with two goals, Sturridge was the obvious Man of the Match.
On his day, he’s one of the best strikers in the world. We’re not being hyperbolic – he really is.
Now it’s just about adapting him to Jurgen Klopp’s tactical demands…
We hope to God he can do it, just like the rest of these Reds:

If Sturridge actually leaves @lfc this transfer window or summer I’ll mourn. I’m actually serious

Belter of a match that.
Sturridge a class above. Origi was in beast mode, unplayable at times.
10 matches unbeaten.
22nd League Cup QF.

Alex Arnold and Ejaria have such bright futures. Divock Origi, just wow! Unplayable tonight. Sturridge in the mood finally.
